There is some water in a pail. If 1 full jug of water is poured into it, the pail is 3 litres away from being completely full. If 2 jugs of water are poured into it, there would be 8 litres of water in the pail. If 4 jugs of water are poured into it, the pail would be completely full. How much water is there in the pail?
