Secondary English Tuition – Secondary 1 & Secondary 2
As students transition from Primary to Lower Secondary school, they must improve their writing skills for different contexts and develop logical and critical thinking abilities to succeed in Comprehension, Summary Writing, and Literature exams.
Our Sec 1 and 2 English programmes are designed to enhance students’ writing and speaking skills and improve their critical reasoning abilities. Students will learn effective writing techniques for various text types, including narrative writing and personal recounts.
They will also develop the skills to answer more challenging inferential questions in comprehension and summarise critical information. These foundational skills will prepare them for Upper Secondary school.
Secondary English Tuition – Secondary 3 & Secondary 4
In Upper Secondary, students will encounter various literary techniques and tackle complex text types such as argumentative writing and hybrid essays.
Our Sec 3 and 4 English programmes aim to refine students’ reading, writing, and speaking skills to meet the demands of the Upper Secondary curriculum and prepare them for the O-Level English examinations.
Students will learn how to structure essays effectively for complex text types, distinguish their writing through profound introspection, improve their ability to answer inferential questions in comprehension and master the art of summary writing.
As part of our intensive O-Level English exam preparation, students will have access to trending essay themes and questions, as well as exemplary model essays.
