In Secondary School, students will be required to use language to express their thoughts and opinions on more complex and abstract ideas. To do that, students will need to equip themselves with a specific set of new skills that include summary and expository writing. In addition to mastering the functional aspects of language use, students will also need to attain a new level of sophistication in the creative aspects.
There’ll be class discussions on issues that teenagers care about, presentations and even a mini research project to supplement the written exercises. This will be a constructive and welcome departure from the intensive writing-based exercises students would have gone through in the pre-PSLE weeks!
Limited to 10 students.
