Terms and Conditions for Registration of Classes

💲 $50 one-time, non-refundable registration fee for new sign-ups or re-enrolments after withdrawal.
💲 $180 deposit per programme. Offset against final month’s fees or any outstanding payments at withdrawal.
No seat will be reserved without payment.

Lessons run continuously until end-November. We only close in December.
No fee suspension during travel or absences.
For Secondary classes: Zoom recordings WILL NOT be provided. Absentees will receive worksheets and materials for self-study, and teachers will continue to mark submitted work.
For other classes, Zoom recordings may still be provided where applicable.
For returning student who withdrew from class, a new registration fee is applicable.

Withdrawal takes effect end of a calendar month if notice is given before the month starts. Example, if notice of withdrawal is given 28 February, last class for student is 31 March.
If notice is given after the month starts, withdrawal takes effect end of next month. Example, if notice of withdrawal is given 7 February, last class for student is 31 March.
Deposit is forfeited if the full notice period is not completed.

Class timing changes (transfer to a different class) take effect from the next month, subject to approval.
If a class falls on a public holiday or the student is absent:
- May attend a similar class within the same week (subject to availability).
- Otherwise, a Zoom recording will be provided (except Secondary classes, where materials will be given instead).
- We cannot accommodate individual schedules.
- No refunds or proration if replacement cannot be arranged.

Only hard copies of worksheets are provided.
No soft copies will be sent via WhatsApp or email.
Materials must be collected from the centre or to be couriered at students’ own costs.

Fees are payable by the first week of each month.
If unpaid by the second week, Joyous Learning reserves the right to:
- Forfeit the $180 deposit
- Withdraw the student from class

We reserve the right to remove any student or parent who is abusive, disruptive, or disrespectful to staff or other students.
This includes verbal abuse, harassment, unreasonable demands, or repeated disregard for policies.

Joyous Learning may adjust class schedules, reassign teachers, or discontinue programmes at its discretion.
While we take all safety precautions, Joyous Learning is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage on its premises.

By enrolling, you consent to the use of your child’s name, work, photos, and recordings for promotional and academic purposes.
You also consent to the use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Services provided by Joyous Learning.
Continued enrolment or attendance is deemed acceptance of all current and future versions of our Terms & Conditions, which may be updated from time to time on.
Section headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
