Why parents choose us

Four things parents tell us they value most

Joyous Learning Academy offers small-group tuition programmes for Primary and Secondary students in Singapore. Our lessons are designed to strengthen foundations, improve confidence, and help students perform better in school and national examinations.

Experienced former MOE Teachers

Joyous Learning is led by experienced educators, including former MOE-trained teachers with years of classroom experience and a deep understanding of the Singapore education system. As educators, we have seen how much the environment shapes learning. Each teacher aims to create a positive, engaging classroom where students feel confident, ask questions freely, and stay motivated.

Small Classes, Close Attention

We keep our classes to a maximum of nine students so that teachers can stay familiar with each child’s learning and progress. With fewer students in the classroom, there is more room for questions, discussion and feedback. Teachers can also pick up on misunderstandings during the lesson instead of only discovering them through homework or tests.

Curriculum Designed In-House, Built for Thinking

Our curriculum is aligned to the latest MOE syllabus for primary and secondary levels — but it goes further than content coverage. We design lessons that develop independent thinking, analytical reasoning, and the ability to apply knowledge to unfamiliar questions. Singapore's education system increasingly rewards students who can think critically, not just recall facts.

Structured Learning. Steady Improvement.

Our programmes are designed to strengthen foundations first before advancing towards higher-level application and exam mastery. Students learn step-by-step answering techniques, problem-solving methods, and writing strategies that help them understand concepts deeply.
