Positions Available

 

CURRICULUM WRITING POSITIONS

1. Primary Science Curriculum Writer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to develop, shape and create content and curriculum that aligns with the vision of the department.

  • Write engaging and creative lessons plans, example problems, and activities.

  • Create user-friendly teacher guides and answer keys to accompany your curriculum.

  • Ensure timely delivery of content and curriculum.

  • Optional: Teach classes at timings of his/her choice.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Subject matter expert in Science (a must).

  • Excellent command of the English language (a must).

  • Able to draw simple diagrams for worksheets.

  • Able to devise engaging and practical hands-on experiments/activities for lessons

  • NIE-trained teacher with at least 3 years of teaching experience in Singapore primary school system. Candidates without NIE experience but with strong academic background are encouraged to apply. 

  • Strong knowledge in and familiarity with current MOE syllabus (Science).

  • Responsible, creative and meticulous.

2. Primary English Curriculum Writer

1. Primary Mathematics Curriculum Tutor

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to students in accordance with in-house curriculum

  • Monitoring and marking of work assigned to students

  • Promoting general holistic development of individual students 

  • Maintaining good order and discipline amongst students while safeguarding their physical and emotional well-being at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Subject matter expert in Mathematics (a must)

  • Has the ability to make young learners smile or laugh at the start and end of each lesson

  • Able to a create a learning environment which encourages creativity, critical thinking and a love for learning

  • NIE-trained teacher

  • At least 3 years of teaching experience in Singapore primary school system

  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with current MOE syllabus

  • Loves working with young learners and cares for them

  • Committed to developing the academic and emotional fitness of their charges      

  • Is serious and yet possess a sense of humour
